Each year, the Affiliate Societies Council of Dayton recognizes outstanding engineers and scientists in the Miami Valley as part of the activities of Engineers and Scientists Week. These engineers and scientists are honored for important contributions to their professions at the Annual Awards Banquet. The Awards Committee receives nominations from Miami Valley companies, educational institutions, professional societies and individuals. Selections are made by the Awards Committee in cooperation with the member societies.

The 2008 Awards banquet was held on March 20 in the Ballroom of the Kennedy Union, University of Dayton.

 

Starting this year, nominations for the 2009 ASC Outstanding Engineer and Scientist Award can be submitted anytime on or before November 7, 2008 by mail, email or fax.
