About TechFest

Hey, Kids! Wondering what TechFest is all about?

This festive affair is an opportunity for Miami Valley youth in grades K-12 to interact with people working in exciting fields/jobs that use math and science on a daily basis.

There will be many hands-on activities and entertaining presentations to help you appreciate the need for excelling in math and science studies.

Guest speakers are being lined up to excite your mind and reveal the mysteries behind fire, explosions, physics, and motion. You will see the fun of math and science.

A multitude of exhibits will introduce you to the past, present and future of engineering as well as career opportunities ahead. Other exhibits will showcase the contributions of area inventors and the affect of their inventions on our lives.

Teachers, we haven't forgotten you!

All of your suggestions were much appreciated and we're looking into getting presenters for workshops that fulfill your requests for both elementary and secondary teachers. Some requests included workshops on weather, math standards, chess, Lego Robots, and technology for the multi-handicapped. If you have other suggestions for workshops, please email us at .

Box lunches at a nominal price will be provided for the convenience of teachers attending workshops. (In response to course critiques and suggestions).

You Gotta Love our Sponsors and Volunteers
